About Us

Park Delicatessen was opened in 2009 as a creative space for
Valentine Leung, a fashion designer and Michael J. Sclafani, a
window dresser. They wanted to open a skateboard shop that also
sold their vintage finds and handmade items. The flower idea was
inspired by the storeʼs original 1950ʼs refrigerator; a remnant of the
spaceʼs original use as a delicatessen.

Their flowers are as eclectic as their store and are influenced by
everything from hand painted signs to fine art. They work with a wide
variety of flowers dependent on the season and what is locally
available. The arrangements incorporate greenery and tree flowers
and avoid the ubiquitous materials. The store is welcoming and it is
this feeling of familiarity that is incorporated into the arrangements.
Making flowers for a wedding is as important to them as their
relationship with the client. They strive to create a unique and warm
experience in everything they do.
